OMG2 – A Cancer Conference for Young Adults

Looking forward to 2009….

Hey everyone!  We are deep into the planning for OMG2.  That’s right, we are at it again!  We are currently working with various local and national individuals from the cancer community and, new for 2009, bands (to provide entertainment) for our event.  Check back soon for the details or subscribe to our RSS and you will be one of the first to know the who, what, when, and where.  We are currently targeting early June, but will let you know ASAP the specific day.

If you would like to help in the planning or to get involved in any way please contact Dan or check out the Syracuse or Rochester Facebook groups and communicate that way.  The more survivors, caregivers, and providers we can get there the better!

Thanks to everyone that attended the event! It was a blast! Everyone I have talked to can’t wait for next year and I can’t agree more. We got a lot of great feedback and will use that to make the next conference even better! In the mean time, here are photos to tide you over. OMG Conference Registration Extended

Registration for OMG! A Cancer Conference for Young Adults in Syracuse, NY has been extended to Tuesday April 29th.  If you have not already registered take 2 minutes and go register now!  Pre-registration is required to participate.

Also, don’t forget our Stupid Cancer Happy Hour in Rochester on Friday 5/2.  More information is available on the conference site.  Advance purchase tickets are cheaper than at the door.

Pre-Conference Stupid Cancer Happy Hour!

Hey Everyone -

To get the party started for our OMG! Conference we figured why not have a Stupid Cancer Happy Hour so we can meet each other ahead of time. There is a cover charge for the happy hour, but that covers appetizers, 1 free drink, and makes a donation to i2y!

Please note, the happy hour is at the Otter Lodge in Rochester, the conference is at OCC in Syracuse. If you are interested in car pooling from Syracuse or other points outside Rochester post your comments on this post.
